Live Music

The Duke regularly presents live music for the enjoyment of its customers. 'The Culprits', (above), brought the house down recently and will be back again before long. The Culprits have more or less adopted us as their 'home' pub and really make the place rock with their covers of classic pop.

Another regular, 'Blues Abuse', (below),offer a unique alternative style of music that will carry you away to the Southern States of America - unmissable!

Beer Fest

The Duke of Cumberland in BARHAM will be hosting its sixth annual real ale & cider festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 7th, 8th & 9th June, noon until midnight. There will be over 25 real ales and ciders from across the country to sample along with a giant paella, hog roasts, barbecues, live music, bouncy castle, etc. This is a real family fun day out and not just for the real ale fanatic. Each year it’s grown in size and popularity and this year promises to be the best yet. Let’s hope the weather bucks up! But if not there’s plenty of cover in our marquee and 18th century barn.Make a date in your diary.

Below are a few photos from last year's highly successful event.

Quizzes

The Duke holds pub quizes on a regular basis, but with a difference! The quiz questions are projected onto a large screen at one end of the bar and include picture questions, like the one above. In addition to straight forward questions there are also rounds which require you to identify celebrity voices or sound bites from songs. It's a true multi-media experience! Champagne for the winners - lollies for the losers.

Sports TV

The Duke will very occasionaly show major sporting events on the projection screen but when not in use the system simply folds up and disappears.
