There are always at least three real ales available at the Duke; Adnams, Black Sheep and Green King IPA and quite often a fourth, guest ale. In addition we serve ice cold lagers; Carling, Fosters, Stella and Kronenbourg, as well as Strongbow and Guinness.
In August 2008 we will be hosting a real ale festival, (see the Events section).
For the wine lover we stock a good range of wines from around the world, available by the glass or by the bottle.
A fine selection of spirits and liqueurs also awaits the discerning customer.

And whilst you enjoy your drink you could always indulge in a game of darts or other pub and board games such as chess, backgammon, monopoly,shove ha'penny, to name but a few.
The Duke also has its own darts team which play regularly in the local leagues.
Alternatively you may prefer just to chat or read the daily papers which are always available in the bar. Whatever your choice you can be assured of a relaxing stay at The Duke.
